Illinois Lutheran Schools
Trinity Lutheran Church, together with Zion Lutheran Church, operates Illinois Lutheran Schools, a nationally accredited school system for students Preschool through 12th grade. Teen Ministry
Do you enjoy working with high-school aged youth? Trinity’s Teen Ministry serves high school aged teenagers by sharing God’s Word through reverent, relevant, and relational activities that encourage teens as they are brought to God, grow with God, and walk with God throughout their lives. F.I.S.H.
Do you enjoy working with junior-high aged youth? The F.I.S.H. (Faith Is Strengthened Here) junior-high youth group of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church provides opportunity for seventh and eighth graders to participate in Bible study, fellowship activities, and service to our church and community, all to the glory of God. Pioneers
Pioneers is a youth group for boys and girls in grades 1-6. The purpose of Pioneers is to engage and encourage kids in activities in connection with God's Word. The various activities are centered on outdoor education, community service, domestic life skills & fellowship. We also have a pinewood car derby in the winter. Treehouse & Timbers
Do you have a heart for school-aged children? The children’s ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, grounded in God’s Word, educates, equips, and encourages all children 3 years old through Grade 5 so that they may know God’s grace and grow in His love. Sprouts
Do you have a heart for young children? Trinity Sprouts provides a fun, safe, loving, Christ-centered environment for young children (ages 5 and under) while their parents attend Sunday morning church services and activities, so that both parents and their children may grow in their faith, all to glorify God. Jesus Cares
Do you have a heart for children with special needs? Jesus Cares Sunday School instructs children with special needs in God’s Word so that through the work of the Holy Spirit, they may come to faith in Jesus Christ their Savior or be strengthened in their faith. Children’s Activity Center
Trinity offers a staffed nursery (or Children’s Activity Center) for children who are babies through age four. The nursery is staffed during the 9:30am service. If you have a heart for young children and would like to help, contact Amanda Hokanson at amanda.hokanson@yahoo.com for more information.
Happy Hands Puppets
Do you have a flair for drama? The Happy Hands Puppet Ministry is a team of children and adults who share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our church, community, and the world using stories, music and humor through the art of puppetry. The Happy Hands Puppet Ministry is designed to break down barriers in order to share the gospel in creative ways that appeal to children of all ages.
