“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29) We are strengthened by the Lord, and he gives us the power to strengthen others. Let us strengthen others physically by donating blood on Saturday, December 7. Illinois Lutheran High School will be hosting its first blood drive of the school year on Saturday, December 7, at the ILES campus on the Versiti mobile bus (448 Cass Street, Crete, IL 60417). The blood drive will take place from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM on December 7 (yep, the same day as Crete Country Christmas).

Appointments are preferred, however, walk-in’s are absolutely welcome. You must be 16 years of age or older to donate. If you are 16, you must have a signed parental permission slip, which can be found at www.versiti.org under their resources tab, or you may contact Chloe Robbert for a copy of the document. You can sign up by going to www.versiti.org/IL and searching for the ILHS blood drive on December 7. You must bring a photo ID to your appointment. If you have any issues signing up for an appointment, please contact Chloe Robbert (crobbert@ilhs.org) for more information/assistance.
